I’ve never really had a set of career goals for the pure fact that they have had to change because of the job market. Lately I’ve been finding myself investing time in projects that I have very little interest in pursuing as a career, and I feel like I have been wasting my time. So here is my new set of career goals.
-Scan all PDFs of my writing and put them on the Resume section of this Web site
-Find day job that involves one of my degree areas, and pays me what my experience is worth.
-Continue to write feminist posts on my blog.
-Volunteer with a feminist organization or find an internship in the same field.
-Make new connections through those outlets.
-Create new web series idea.
-Find another job that involves writing for a feminist press. Jezebel would be the preferred option.
-In the mean time, read as much as you can about feminist theory
-Find volunteer jobs with the body positive community.
